When I got my WDX and drove it for the first time it was loud, and that was just driving in the community that I live in. I drove my 1950 B1PW to work a few times and that was a mistake. It does not want to go fast, and the faster you go, the rougher, noiser and scarier it gets. I really wouldn't want to ride in an original power wagon on the highway that hasn't been converted to a modern driveline and fitted with disc brakes. I found anything over 40mph and the noise, and heat gets excessive.
