Yes, the Poly hydraulic bell is universal for the Poly, \6 (get that slant correct!) and the 251 if I'm not mistaken. Also the 420 and 435 should bolt up to it. As RD mentioned, there are different splines and spline diameters to watch out for, most common is the 1" 10 spline input, there is also a 1 1/4" 10 spline. Manual flywheels are drilled differently from the automatics so some mods are required for the piot shaft bushing id you go from a manual to auto or visa/versa. The bell is easy to spot, it has 18 or 19 bolt holes several dowels holes and weights over a 100 lbs! The Poly starter had 3 bolts, later two bolt starters will not fit, but a 3 bolt starter can be re-geared for the flywheel application. The bell used a hydraulic clutch, the throw out/clutch arm is on the passenger (right) side of the bell. They were made up until 1966.
