This topic brought out alot of good, some not-so-good, and alot of downright hilarious responses.
The long and short of it is --- By human nature, women are actually "amazing" but "complicated" creatures. They are the "gatherers", (homemakers/family caretakers), and "things" are not as important to them as nurturing and protecting her family. (And she knows the value of money and scrimping to save it/make it stretch and save for the future).
Men on the other hand are the "hunters". So therefore for us it's natural to make/buy our spears, (for hunting game), and we need plenty !!! (Thats why we can't have just one truck, we have to have many to fulfill our "need").
So alot of it depends on what kind of a "hunter" you are !!! If your a good financial provide ("hunter"), have your priorities straight, (riiight), and meet the needs of your "gatherer", the acceptence of your many "spears" will be greatly tolerated.
However, if your not making good "provisions", (sleeping instead of hunting), ie not meeting the requirements of your "gatherer" your need for "spears" will be frowned upon and may even make your "gatherer" leave you for a better "hunter".
(A lesson I learned the hard way)!!!
So now if there are any single "gatherers" in their late 40's out there in Dodge Forum land, this "hunter" has many "spears" to share !!!!
