Is GVW an indicator of gear ratio too? (GVW as it relates to the size of the wheels/tires used with the two ratios offered)
Reading through the Standard Catalog of Light Duty Dodge Trucks, by John Gunnell, under the years '46-'47, there is a technical section that mentions: 7.50x16 tires - GVW is 7,600; 9.00x16 tires - GVW is 8,700. Also mentions that gear ratio 4.89:1 came with the 7.50x16 tires, and 5.83:1 came with 9.00x16.
It's not clear to me whether the technical section under these years is referencing Power-Wagons.
