The 47-56 parts book lists a brass recessed washer for the four exhaust studs (1&6) and plain hex nuts.

I would use the four copper washers/spacers on the exhaust studs with the plain steel nuts. The brass nuts and other washers for the rest. In doing it this way, if the plain steel nut seizes, it's easier to get to.

You should apply either anti-seize on the stud/nut threads or high temp exhaust silcone (my preference) during assembly

I have also verified the part numbers with the G507 for the T223 truck. The only difference is the G507 called for brass nuts instead of copper. Cooper is fine also.
