Last I checked the original muffler is not longer available at auto parts stores. VPW imported them from France at one time. The originals are a little weird. The outlet is 1.75 inches while the inlet is 2". Not exactly sure on the measurements. The original muffler was very restrictive in terms of air flow. This is one area where you can do better than original.
