I was still going to look for a Dana 70 front end for a trade.
I came to see you with cash in my pocket and was not real happy with your description of the extra parts (2 M-37 fenders that were rough and a radiator with 2 tennis ball sized repairs in it) that I could have sold and sweetened the deal for me, if they were in good shape.
I didn't ask for a call back.
150 miles wasn't too far for me to return if and when I found a front end. Also I never came out and said that I would take it, just that the cab, frame and bed floor had good potential. I did say that I could have used some parts and was looking for a truck that could be parted out when I got what I needed off it...
On the other hand I did have a good time talking with you and we got to visit with Missouri John for several hours too.
Sorry, If I made you think a purchase or a trade would be taking place any time soon.
