My father in law's house got shot last year by a guy who was mad about breaking up with his girlfriend. He drove down the street and took pot shots until he ran out of ammo.
There were two holes in the siding, one on either side of the front door. The wall stopped both rounds. We pulled them on through.
A little more to the right, and one shot would have gone through the window and maybe hit someone lying on the couch.
They caught the guy later that night. He'd been in this sort of trouble before, so he's still incarcerated.
