The democrats were for the working man in the 1930's, now they want the working man's tax money for those that do not work. Where you been the last 25 years? The economy went south in the '70's because Carter screwed it up. Reagan cut taxes and the economy boomed. The democrats however took Reagans prosperity and spent all the money, and more, on social programs. The Republicans took power in the Congress in 1992 and cut off the Clinton spending machine and the economy boomed. It started to tank just as Clinton left office and President Bush, in spite of 9-11 and the War on Terror has cut our taxes and the economy is reviving as we speak. democrats tax and spend and try to make government bigger, Republicans let you keep more of your own money and try to cut government.
And this is coming from a former 25 year democrat and 30 year union man.
Read Senator Zel Millers book about it, Miller is a lifelong democrat from Georgia who has had enough.
OK, now let's all sign together, " I saw the light!" ha!ha!
