Either way you could be libel for any damage.
Any damage when he comes to pick it up and you may have to return his money. This sounds fishy on his end, I would be very careful. In the least a letter stating you have no responsibility for it in any manner.
Talk to your lawyer, you still can get screwed. Maybe the guy died ?? If it was me, I would want it out long before 90 days.
If i sold it, I sold it to get rid of it, not have it sit maybe all winter in my way.
