Ok so Todd here is a little upset with me because I bought those two PW's in KS he found back on Forum 80 or 81. Remember back when with me.................
Todd finds the forum "Yea!!!" A new member and possible (clique) PW brother, however Todd spends the majority of his time complaining about how much the trucks cost and how the dealers (enter Judd, Doug, Eric, Butler ect,ect) are making WAY to much $$ (HAHAHAHAHAHAH) And he can't seem to find a truck to buy for $50 (Boo Hoo!!)
Anywho, he finds two PW's in the heart of KS and makes his bid for them (way too low and pisses off the owner, I know this because I talked with the owner!)In the meantime he posts pics of the trucks and a general description of there condition. I make no move twords them even though they are less than 300 miles from me. In the meantime a PW in OK is advertized on the forum with winch for $1200!! I JUMP ON IT! And head down to buy it.
After I bring it home I notice that the winch works, has 4.89's and a pretty straight cab and fenders and I put it up for sale after working on it a bit. Todd notices this and askes (a little slyly I think) on the forum how my $1200 truck turned out, informing all folks what I paid for it (big deal!) I informed him that I belive the truck to be worth $3500 at least and that leads us into a huge debate over dealer prices and that Nobody will just give Todd a PW and how the folks that buy and sell are screwing everyone else and why is a truck that just sold for $1200 all of a sudden worth $3500 (duh!!!!) Now it is discovered it has 4.89's a working winch ect,ect that the previous owner didn't mention in his add. And most importantly, I got lucky!
However Todd is not happy with this explination and continues to complain about prices and dealers and how he just can't seem to find his truck. This has given me great exposer on the then dubbed OKIE truck and it sell's very well on ebay to a fellow in TX, Thanks Todd!
BTW during one of his rants about over priceing I ask him for the address or numbers to the KS pw's and after a couple of other posts about it he tells the forum where they are! He bilittles me about why I don't post where I find reasonably priced trucks on the forum and I reply "Because I buy them!" enough said. (see forum 81)Thanks for the search function Dave!!
Fast forward to a couple months ago and Todd tells us all he got a call from the owner of the PW's in KS and they will accept his offer!! Reread this!! Accept his offer!!
Todd then tells them he has to think about it and look at them again yada yada yada! I approached him via email to ask about the trucks (yes I now know where they are) And ask him his plans, he say's at first he thinks he'll let them go, then he asks me how much I will give him for them or how much of a finders fee I will pay (yes I pay finders fee's for trucks I can buy at a good price)
I tell him $100 and where are they??
He then tells me he has decieded to look at them again in a few days and if the motors are froze he'll maybe buy them and sell them to me (for a profit I'll bet!). Wrong answer! I still feel the sting of his comments about the OKIE truck and I tell him (In writing non the less!) that he should absolutely not wait and that he should buy those trucks right away! This was a monday night I belive, I waited until Wed afternoon before I called the owner and asked him if they were available, yes he says, this guy he had been talking too (Todd) could not make up his mind and if I wanted them I could have them for the same price he (Todd) had offerd, I bought them sight unseen! (they were that cheap!!!)
BooHoo Todd! You were warned(by me non the less) And you got spanked for your trouble.
Maybe this has taught you a valuable lesson in the PW world, never talk about trucks you've found or want to buy, and never and I mean NEVER try to climb the leg of a bigger dog all the while trying to bite his nuts! You will get bite back!!
Was this bussiness----yes! Was this personal------most certinly so!!
I take advantage of nobody! I sell trucks and if you don't like the price--tough! Buy elsewhere. I don't harp on people trying to make an honest living and I don't expect you to as well.
What have we learned here-- Judd holds a grudge when someone messes with his ability to feed and take care of his family!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BTW-Todd the one truck sold recently for $2500 and the yellow one has 4.89's.
