Water is not a problem but it is messy to do, but so is regular sand blasting. As long as you have a place outside to do it that you do not mind having a ton of wet sand on the ground to clean up it works pretty good. I found you have to dry it good at the end and a sunny day helps. There are agents you can put on the metal to stop the rust flash over. I have used Purple Castrol cleaner and it works. What I do most of the time is use a fine wire brush on the metal after blasting it to polish it smooth and brite again. This is what I did to these parts and they turned out nice with no rust. The wire brush warms up the metal and drys it good along with smoothing it to a shine again. Mark H.
