I'm about 11 years old at the time, and some of the girls at school are starting to shave their legs. Not wanting to risk getting a "no" answer from my mom if I can start, I just go ahead and do it one day. Got dad's disposable razor and the shaving cream off the shelf. Have to read the directions on the can first, follow them step-by-step, since I've never done this before... well, it said to "wash face and leave wet". As the warm water drips off my nose and chin, I pick up the can to read the next step, and it hits me... DUH!
