You can get a fuel pump at most car parts store. The part number is AC Delco 517, but I will have to check when I go home for lunch today. I will post a follow-up if the number is different. I bought one about a year ago for my 48 Dodge 1/2t at Carquest for about $30-40. Most pumps now have the glass bowl as described by Tom. The orginal military pump had a metal bowl. I guess glass fuel bowl would be bad on a cross country combat vehicle. I might have a part number for the metal bowl variety back home in Texas if you have your heart set on that. The pump goes on the front right side (pass side) of the motor below the valve covers. The arm rides on the cam or crank. Easy installation. You will need brass elbos for the pump to connect to the fuel line and to the line going to the carb.
