If you are near Dallas you might check with local Military Vehicle Club for leads. That's where I found mine. I checked with club in Tulsa and within a couple of weeks I had a lead on a WDX, a part of a WDX and frame of M37. It was less than fifty miles from home. Bought the three of them for $650.00 and restored a complete one that I drove to Power Wagon Rally one year. Since sold it, but had a ball restoring it. Not doing another. Getting to old and the parts are too heavy to lift. Make wooden models now (see on a link of this site). Got some great advice for restoring.
1. Get someone else to do it.
2. Failing that, take picture of every part before you take it off.
3. Label in a plastic bag every nut and bolt you take off. Will help when putting it back together again.
4. Realize Murphy's law. Whatever falls to the ground, whether tools or parts, will always roll to the opposite side of truck you are working on.
Have fun. Hope I see you drive it to the Rally some year.
