We have a 1941 closed cab 1/2 ton with what I believe to be the 218 engine. It is (was- just went south) equipped with a 6 volt Delco-Remy electric fuel pump. I am assuming it origingally came with a mechanical pump. Was this a routine conversion and is it difficult to obtain original mechanical pum? Thanks in advance.
