The posting that Winget is refering to is mine. The u-joint I purchased had the correct diameter bearing caps, but the across the caps width was slightly wider. The retaining ring grooves are about twice as wide the rings so it will fit different applications. The key is to find a parts man that is willing to take the time needed to solve your problem. Sometimes that is not easy to find. If anyone is interested I just purchased all the bearings and seals for my 47 WDX transmission and PTO for $116.00 at the local Motion Industries bearing house. This is considerably cheaper than other sources. I will post the part numbers if there is an interest.
