You would have to get a set of springs rated for the weight of the truck + max load, design drag links to hold the axle in the proper place, add sway bars (since your building a hotrod) install the spring perches, draglink and radius arm mounts on the axles, Rig a way to adjust the whole mess, add travel limiters, rebound pads, torsion bars.
Basically just get a Modern truck frame and put your body on it. At what point does a vintage vehicle become "New" Airconditioning, heating, Powersteering, power disc brakes, vanity mirrors in the visors (for that matter Visors alone) digital spedo, HEY, buy the NEW Dodge 2000 truck and save the work......
