As the proud new owner of a 47WDX loaded with lots of the factory options Including a belt pulley drum. I have some questions for anyone that has a belt pulley drum. My new truck has the original rear pto cover and the drum came out of the barn of the man I bought it from. Original owner. My question is, has anyone seen a metal cover for the mounting side of the cast drum case? My drum has what looks like a factory sheetmetal cover that protects the female spline when not attached to the truck. Its the exact same shape as the outer cast case and has a raised center to accomidate the locking nut around the female splie. It has four holes that match up with the case to attach the cover to it. It appears that this drum has never been used and when I removed the cover it looks like new inside. So if anyone has any info please let me know.
