I have a 54 m37, high range 4 wheeldrive works fine, but I have been unable to get the 4 wheel low to engage, i have tried adjusting the rod with no change in condition, youcan pull the lever back about .75% of the way but when you engage th clutch it's like it's in netural, ther is no grinding of gears, it's like it's not there. Am I doing some thig wrong or is it the fact that it hasen't been used in 20+ years, is ther any thing that I can do with out disassembeling the truck? you help is much aprecated in this matter,
