Well, I got the brakes to work. It was just a matter of bleeding all the junk out of the lines. There there but not great. Also when driving down the road at 35mph it's so loud I can barely hear myself think! Is this normal? I'm sure I'm in high range and the truck has Sears allstate locking hubs so it's not the front end. Were there gears offered that are lower than 5.83's? Also, my gas tank's pickup tube is broken off inside the tank, has anyone have any expirence in replacing/ fabricating this tube. I cant see any other way other than to cut a hole in the top of the tank for access. Not to fear Bernie, I'm not getting sidetracked from the '46, I'm just waiting for parts for it from Vintage P/W's. Thanks in advance for the help.
