Years ago, I made a similar device out of a coffee can to test and
tune motorcycles. I brazed a fitting on the bottom of the can and made a
simple bucket handle out of coathanger wire with which I suspended the can.
If you're careful, you might be able to put the lid on the can and add a little
to the safety of the thing.
I think that even a powerwagon would run long enough for testing purposes on
this amount of gas.
