Actually this head will fit any Canadian
25" big block flathead 5. 238ci, 250, 265
are all the exact same bore just different
stroke.. It will also fit the 218ci and every
long block made in Canada since 1937.

This one is an older non-bypass head and
while I have nothing to do with this one, it almost looks like it has already been planed
a bunch. Could be the picture, but it looks
like pretty small openings compared
to the one sitting on my bench that I am looking at.

Truth is my two cents is they are more a neat looking item than a great performance item. First off your mixing alunimum head on
a cast block. Two different metals and they
tend to float around a bit -aka tend to blow
head gaskets.

Performance - shave a cast head 80-100 thou
and you will have the same performance.

The later edmunds heads had a much more
closed chamber so you did get a little more
performance but it is more show than go.

The company you are referring to is Edgy Cams
http://www.edgycams.com/

Earl's last price for one of his alunimum heads was $650 plus s&h which is to me outragous. It was $300 about 24 months ago.
Supply and demand I guess.

Those are brand new, bypass heads, and there
is a noticable increase in compression with
Edgy's heads. If money is no object - that is the one in the aluninum head world

As for this one.. it is over $100.. wow..
maybe mine will be up for sale on ebay.

I got two at Hershey this fall for $10 and
$25.. the big money for a bypass one.. those
were deals.. $100 - you really have to want one and don't want to look much. Much beyond this and you may as well look for a bypass one..
