Well, its been 3 days now since I been a home owner, and now the Novelty is kinda wearing down, and 'reality' is setting it. It still is a great feeling tho. Most people my age are renting..and paying more for rent that I would my house payment! Tho in all honesty, the place wont be "MINE" untill its paid off...but its a good start. I dont believe in living above your means, and I am NOT out to impress anybody. My trailer is all I need. I dont like the high cost of heating, or spending days to clean house. I figure as long as its safe (its been remodeled and drywalled, and has been rewired with newer Romex, and has a newer breaker box) it should be fine..and No leaks! Part of my plan was to get my place and get it paid off, or close to being paid off before I do settle down. I am single and dont even have a girlfriend! That is the last thing on my mind right now. If I do settle down and have a family, I want to do it on ONE income. .......and yes, it can be done! Today I went down to the city (Detroit area) to visit some relatives, and seen 2 new Hummer H2's. I thought to myself, that one of the H'2's cost as much as my place in the country! And guess what, my place will be worth more than the H'2. I do live a fairly meager life. I drive older vehicles, and heck, my S-10 I drive everyday only cost me $500, and it is still going strong after a year. I have no desire to own a new truck. (I really want a '89-93 Dodge W-250 or W-350 with a Cummins bad tho! but not yet!)

I may build a house in the future..I am not shure yet. I will probably just end up building a 'mansion' out of the trailer LOL! I have seen it done many a time. My next major project is the barn shop building. It probably wont be a MORTON tho, as those are quite pricey. I would like a 60X80 with 14 foot ceilings and a 8 inch thick concrete slab floor. I plan to eventually start a Diesel and heavy equipment repair out of my place, and LEAVE that factory for good. As for my little junkyard, it was about 35 vehicles at a time tucked in behind pines..No permit, but I am making plans to get my salvage liscense, and perhaps a used car dealer liscense too. I like playing with Iron, anything from Small engines, Power Wagons, old trucks, Semis etc. I hope to do it sometime as a career.

One thing at a time ya know!
