Growing up with Fords all my life, when I moved to Northern Idaho, I had to build a 1 ton 4x4 Ford. Mine is a '69 frame with later model running gear. I do have an older closed knuckle Dana 60 front end in it. ('73, I think) The cab is '66. It's a good looking truck, but it was much easier when I discovered my '68 W300 on a lot in Spokane. Dana 70 front and rear! It would have been much easier to change the gearing in my W300 than do all I had to do to my Ford. Oh well, not all of us can be smart, too. JH
