I have an 85 1-ton crewcab 4x4 with a 360 and 4-speed transmission with a married transfer case. I loacated a guy with a 5-speed transmission & married transfer case out of an 88 3/4 ton with a 318.Would/should this increase gas mileage? Is this a direct bolt in? Maybe someone could enlighten me? What are the gear ratio's of the two? Thanks and have a good day.
