I had brought that subject up a couple forums ago. I followed the advice and had a trench dug and installed 2 conduits. 1 was 1/2 and the other was 2". I used the 2" only becuase someone gave it too me. I ran electric in the 1/2" and 3/4" black iron in the 2". I put the electric conduit under the air line so if anyone goes digging they will hit the air line first.
When installing the air line use plumbing elbows as the electrical 90 degree bends are more gentle slope and don't work well with the 90 degree elbows on the black iron. I also glued the conduit together to try to keep out the moisture. I buried everything about 36" deep.
