1949 Dodge Power Wagon $8,000 / ebay [MS]
Location Iuka, MS

This is a 1949 Flat Fender Power Wagon. It has an original MU-2 Braden Winch and correct first series pick-up bed. It has the original drive train and correct engine. If you have been looking for a power wagon, this is your chance to own a good one.

This is a great starter Power Wagon, or foundation for a restoration.

It has pretty good sheet metal. Mechanically, it is very sound. The brake system has recently been completely been rebuilt including: new wheel cylinders, lines, master cylinder, relined shoes, emergency brake and associated axle seals and bushings. It runs okay, but needs to be re-jetted for the altitude.

All the gauges are present and functioning (I am not sure if the fuel gage works because I haven’t filled it up).

The glass needs to be replaced.

Included are all the parts for a new set of cowl lights, a headlight bucket and some switches and other assorted goodies.

The right front fender is bent up so I am including an extra. The passenger running board is beat up, but repairable.

The truck came from New Mexico. It does have some limited rust such as around the rivets on the rear fenders and along the front edge of the bed. It is all very repairable. There is a vise mount welded to the corner of the bed (see pictures). It could easily be removed. The cab needs a little work. The floor has some rust. I am including the bottom half of a cab with a good floor for the repair. I think that the cab would be in good shape with a new floor. But, if you are interested, I have another 1949 cab (located in Cross Timbers, MO) available for $300.

The truck is currently on ebay at http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2441364451
