Hi,

I know chyrsler sells a roller bearing that presses into the converter nose relief rather than into the deeper, smaller bushing hole. The converter nose relief is finish machined and is concentric. I know this roller bearing fits the 833 4 speed, I don't know if it fits the truck trans (435?). See if the local dealer has the part number given, and measure it.
I think the drilled hole you have is concentric, but is missing the final ream step to provide finished size.
