I am putting in an HEI distributor in my 251 as parts are easier to get when they fail, and they do. I am also building a set of custom header/intake manifold for a newer 2 bbl carb, then efi maybe down the road. I have a dual remote oil filter set up and would also like to grind the cam a little. I have already milled the head 80 thousands and have a couple thousand mi's on it with no problems. My 251 is freshly built and balanced and runs circles around the 218 that was in the truck when I bought it.
