2.900 across the yokes without the end plates. This is the yoke on the winch end the pto end has the snap ring type. Maybe the napa 853 goes on the pto end and the winch end uses the agriculture type u-joint.
The pto end measures 3.135 across with the caps .125 in from the end of the yokes which would make the dimension 2.885 from end cap to end cap.
By the way don't crawl under your truck and scrape your bald head against the cotter pin in the castle nut on the shackle. It don't feel too good not to mention it bleeds alot. ouch!
