I am working on a repower in my 1957 FF PW. I am using a helitool kit with a V8, 1968 W200 bell housing and an NP540 tranny from a D500. The only problem I have not overcome is the clutch. The NP540 has a 1 3/8"spline with 10 teeth. The W200 had an 11" clutch with 1" spline and 10 teeth. I need an 11" clutch with 1 3/8" spline and 10 teeth.

Can I just order the throwout bearing and pressure plate for the W200 and the clutch disk for the D500?? Or would the entire clutch from the D500 work in the W200 bellhousing?? A listing at NAPA shows the 11" clutch with 1 3/8" spline with 10 teeth and all parts are available. I hesitate to order without some feedback from the experts.

Thanks for any help.

Jim
