Sounds to me like you either have a plugged filter or have something in the tank (rust probably) that is working it's way to the pickup tube and plugging it off. Then as the truck stops, the gas flows back, clears the filter or end of the tube, and it starts again next time your drive it. Replace your filter and pull the tank and clean it if replacing filter does not take care of it.

The PIF file, at top of forum has procedures to work through for trouble shooting no spark in the electrical section. Work through both the above and let us know if you still have problems. Good Luck!
