yes it's only spot welded right at the time of the photos,, in order to have it come out as slick as it did i had to lap the front and back and a few inches of the sides.. it did in fact come out excellent,,just feather the welds out and use proper filer or heavy primer and it will be flawless..the body where it meets up is butt welded,,as for everything else that i've done,, running board have been streached also..and the bed is six feet long,, so it still has a use...thanks again matt
