i thought the inside width of the bed was 54"s,, my cheap reproduction is only 53 3/8s,,,what's the deal can they get anything right.. this means that the cross members will have to be shortened.. i don't have a original series one bed on the property now so any info would be great.. i swear that the last one i had was 54's inside the bed..
