Good Idea. So I went and looked at several 10 lugbolt hubs under 22.5"tires. I Looked at the weight of the 22.5" Alcoa rims and tires. Too Heavy IMHO. I've driven an M37 at length with widened field rims, 39x13 Acft tires with Bandag caps. Weighing in at #175. I think wheels this heavy are beyond the performance envelope of the average stock, and even many modified vehicles (PW's). The Hub part is very possible either way (on an M37 or PW). The max dia of the M37 tire and wheel under the front fender is about 44 or 45 inches in my experience. This can be changed. But the weight of an original tire and rim is about #110, and a 900x16 NDT on a field or combat rim is #118, and the 9x20 NDT's on a converted Chevy rim (41" dia) is #128. The 22.5's probably approach or surpass the #175 weight limit for me. I have several sets of the 900x20"s, and I like them the best. My vehicle is running around 400HP and about the same torque.

I think the 22.5's would easily infringe on the vehicle balance, in many ways.

Thanx Will Liebscher
