need to measure the backside setting of your
oe wheel and try to get a replacement wheel with the same setting (usually cannot increase
this setting as you will encounter inner suspension clearance issues)
backside you can measure - offset you must calculate from backside & overall width
notice that ffpw wheels have almost all the wheel behind the mounting flange very little
if any on the front side
backside setting on 6.5x16 (overall width is about 7.5 or 8 (incl wheel lip flange))is about 7.25 in so you can see that the load is
centered on the wheel bearings
offset would be -3.25 (if overall is 8in)
c/l of wheel is 4in and the plane of the mounting flange is 3.25 from the c/l which is expressed a neg figure
