they sandblast, repair, reshape and permanently coat outside and inside of tank. i had it done on a nos command car tank as they are rare. they provide a lifetime service for about 300 bucks. if you have to buy a used tank, and do the work yourself twice over the life of the truck, at 300 youd be about even. knowing that my tank will never rust and that my fuel will not be contaminated by the metal is a value.
