I think those are to high of RPMs for a stock 230, 4300 would be way out of line. With my tach I felt comfertable at 2800 RPMs all day, 3,000 to 3100 for 10 miles or so did not bother me. At 3,200 I felt it was pushing the engine to much and would only do that when shifting, getting in tight spots ect. At those RPMs you are pushing 60 in the PW, little fast for me in my older age. When I was younger and a few drinks in me I could not hear or care about a engine and bet I had them at red line and higher many times. Now I seem to feel the pain of reving a engine to much and just can't do it anymore. Mark H.
