In my opinion the main reason the Environmental Extremists are winning, is because they are organized. They set a goal, right or wrong, they gather strength in both people, funding and law makers. Then when they are ready, really ready with good lawyers, go to court and win. Its all done leaglely. Roads are closed, entire areas are off limits sometimes even to foot travel.
Then along come the opposition, usually un organized, individuals or very small groups, out of state'ers, non tax payers, who decide they are going to go in and use/open the closed areas. Its their Cross To Bear, Their Crown of Thorns. They think they can force a change back to the way it was, open few if any regulations. They first blame the police for their problems. The Police are just trying to make a living like we are. Its the lawmakers who made the new rullings, the police just enforce. The Encon Police, Rangers are called bad guys,
Nazis, people out to ruin America. This name calling and accusing really get things off to a good start. They go to court and loose. It did not accomplish anything but to anger everyone, both sides and get in trouble.
Its much like you and me not liking a 65 mph speed limit. What are we going to accomplish by driving 80, having a trooper give us a ticket, telling him he works for us, we pay his wages, call him a Nazi. Nope we pay the fine or go to jail. Rather, we should get organized, do it the right way.
Gather, support, push our lawmakers for a vote, have the people vote for a 80 mph speed limit. Thats how to win.
If I go onto State land and cut trees, I better be prepaired to pay for it. Unless it was a life saving act, you loose.
These are my opinions that I have a very strong belief in. Now to qualify the above for posting here..........Back to work on my DODGE, DODGE Carryall ha ha ha.
