Where did you locate those antique Idaho jackstands? I've been looking all over for a couple of sets just like them and eventually gave up and bought those new fangled heavy duty steel ones. Whatever got into those engineers heads to come up with such a crazy idea as safety? I know we've all done it in the past in our younger years, but that is just not very safe. I'd be willing to bet that you've got a couple of sets of steel jackstands in your shop? Nuff said though, sure wish you lower 48'ers would try and put together a trip to Alaska. Enjoy your trip and hopefully one of these days on a trip outside I'll swing on by.
