When I was about 6 yrs old, and my brother was only 2 then, my Mom left us in the care of our Dad for the afternoon. He had to get the lawn mower running, so we were out in the garage with him while he worked.
All of a sudden, my younger brother walks right up to the bowl my Dad was using to hold the extra gas from the carburator, he picks it up and drinks it down!
It happened so quick my Dad didnt have a chance to stop him.
I have no idea why gasoline would be "tasty" to a 2 year old, but he drank it.
Next stop: Emergency room for a stomach pump.
I hear Antifreeze is tasty to animals and they sometimes drink it and die. I bet kids might like it too. Be careful.
