I did the reverse of this (mounted W300 hubs on a beat up FF front axel). As Frank says, the inner bearing and seal are the same ID, as well as the brake shoes and backing plate, so you can swap hubs if you can figure out the outer bearing. In my direction, I used the D70 outer bearing and turned a sleeve to go fron 1.8125" to 2.000". I also had to take the center spline portion of a FF drive flange and TIG weld it into a new cold roller steel flange drilled to match the W300 front hub. This isn't on a full power truck, so I don't worry about the weld strength. This is on a D300 chassis converted to 4WD, powered by an Army surplus 42 cu in engine and a variable displacement hydraulic pump and motor, as well as hydraulic steering. It has an 8' x 18' flatbed on it, for moving brush etc. Sort of like a giant self powered trailer, or an oversized military mule. I'll post some pictures when it's done.
