There are D.O.T. regulations that have to be met for anyone to drive a bus. I had to get the "Passenger endorsement" on my drivers lic. to drive our old 28 passenger, church bus. I think you have to have the special endorsement if the vehicle can carry more than 18 or 20 passengers. I can not remember the exact limit, but our church just bought a new bus that is just under the limit. I think this new oneholds 18, and it does not require any special lic.
