I'm missing something then...the filler level plugs would be useless if Dodge had used ordinary wheel bearing grease?
regular grease or wheel bearing grease is just way too thick to have a filler plug work properly?
I've been using wheel bearing grease & I believe it will work well for what we do with these trucks today, but I'm definitely not convinced that originally the lubricant in those knuckles was anywhere near this thick.
