The Forest Service employees are probably not the enemy here,but more likely their managment. There's always going to be the occasional hyper-officious Ranger but for the most part I've found the people on the ground to be earnest, dedicated individuals.
They must be, considering the pay and work conditions they function under.Their managers however appear to be some of the most recalcitrant , clotheared gits I have ever encountered.
I'd have liked to have participated in the operation though, I just wish it wasn't so far to go. Good Luck with the project John and crew. RDT
