Those scallops are called mobile rust test stations, ha!ha! It was pretty funny to watch them in the winter after a freezing rain. After about 3 miles the hood would get warm enough to melt the bond. Then the next time that you hit the brakes you'd be launching two 40mm ice projectiles at 55 mph!! Luckily it was never at a crosswalk full of nuns! = )
