That is a trick question. If you are restoring it, then take the cab off. But if you are just installing the engine/transmission, then I would separate the transmission from the engine. It is only 4 bolts and the trans is off of the bellhousing. Removing the bellhousing is a different story. Then the clutch, pressure plate and flywheel have to come out the bottom.
