I talked with Chris Johnson in Elko NV. Today. I have assured him that the Power Wagons will prevail a,d do the duty of removing the waste water from the privvy!
So far, we have Myself with the 52 B3PW (with fresh winch and new buckshot mudders), Digger Dan Garrett with is 53 M-37, Russ Erickson with his B1PW and Ben Hur trailer.(To haul the tank and pump in), Niall Irish with is Hercules powered M37, (with a mission to make it all the way this time after breaking an axle our first trip through this summer!)
(by the way, Niall was on the original 'Jarbidge Shovel Brigade' back on July 4, 2000 that initiated repoening of this road!)
And, Ken Sterrett with his 1961 WM300 that he is feverishly working to get the motor in and the truck back in running condition before Oct. 17th!! (I am planning on helping Ken later this week when he is off work) We may have Stewart Waldemar with his 53 M37 (digger is checking with him) So far this brings us to 6 trucks, (4 with winches, 2 without)
We'll keep you posted!! Look for us on the news!!! We can always use extra hands as riders, rock movers, tree cutters, etc...any PW / lover of public lands staying public is welcome!!! We will be camped friday afternnon at the 'Pine Creek' campground, approx. 5 miles south of Jarbidge, NV.
