As with the combat rim story below, thanks for sharing so it does not happen again.
On your truck, I was on a LST in 1981 going to Team Spirit in Korea. On the ship were two M715 maintenance trucks like yours. Both trucks were painted desert camouflage. The neat part was they were SeaBee trucks. I wished now I had taken some pictures of them.
